First Day of School

What to Bring

• Pupil’s Companion Book (please complete student’s particulars on page 2)

• Pencil Case (containing sharpened pencils, an eraser and a ruler)

• Colour Pencils

• Water Bottle

• Money / Smart Buddy Watch for Lunch

• Healthy Snack Break (e.g. fruits, biscuits, bread)

Reporting and Dismissal Time

• Please note that parents/guardians will not be allowed to park in the school carpark. You are encouraged to park at the nearby HDB carparks next to the school.

• For the first day of school on Friday, 2 January 2026, your child/ward will report to school by 8.00 a.m.

• Parents will be allowed to drop off your child/ward at the bus bay. You are not allowed to accompany your child to the classroom. Please follow the First Day of School Programme for parents.

• Your child/ward will be dismissed at 11.30 a.m. on the first day of school via Gate C only.

• Please indicate on the nametag the mode of dismissal for your child (Gate C, School Bus or Name of Student Care).

First Day of School Programme for Parents

Parents will not be allowed to accompany your child to the classrooms.

 We have arranged for Care Corner to give a Parents’ Talk on that day. You are invited to join us for the talk at the Multi-Purpose Hall.

Synopsis of the Parent’s Talk

This talk will provide parents with an understanding of how the brain influences emotional regulation and relationships. The session will equip parents with strategies to help children regulate emotions, make thoughtful choices, and build essential social-emotional skills, while strengthening the parent–child relationship.
