Goal
To cultivate students who are
- Confident individuals with stage presence and poise of a dancer.
- Responsible individuals and contributing team players.
- Reflective performers with heightened sense of aesthetics.
Objectives
By Primary 6,
- Dancers progress from beginner/developing level to accomplished level
- Ability to dance in group to achieve team success as well as in solo
- Ability to create and modify dance moves independently
- Have the confidence and knowledge to apply for Direct School Admissions (DSA) through Chinese Dance and continue their passion for dance in their Secondary school.
Overview
- Develop passion and appreciation of dance
- Understand and appreciate different genres of Chinese dance
- Emphasis on flexibility, dance skills, facial and body movement expressions
- Exposures to stage performances and competitions
- Develop team player mind-set and leadership
- Focus on 21st CC skills – being a confident individual

Schedule
Every Monday 7.40 am – 8.40 am Additional practices as and when required on Wednesday afternoon (2.30 pm – 4.30 pm). Parents will receive notifications accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Any requirements/pre-requisite to enter the CCA? No
- Is the CCA gender specific? Yes, the CCA is only for girls (The girls are need to grow long hair)
- What do students need to purchase when they are in the CCA? Students are required to purchase dance leotard, black leggings and dance shoes.
- What can they do to help them to prepare themselves to be accepted into the CCA and do well? Have a strong interest in dancing, a positive team mind-set, and the willingness to put in efforts to learn and improve.
- Does students who participated in self-paid Chinese dance enrichment program in P1 or P2 gain direct entry into Chinese Dance CCA? No, students is not guaranteed a place in the Chinese Dance CCA even though they were enrolled in the Chinese Dance enrichment programme in the school.
